Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Wanderwhim. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Wanderwhim. One person, one account.

Your content

You retain ownership of every topic, source, note, and writing you create. We claim no rights over your content beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service for you (storing it, displaying it back to you, processing it through AI features at your request).

If you mark a topic as public, you grant other users of Wanderwhim and the public web a license to view it. Making a topic private again revokes that license going forward.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to share.
  • Use Wanderwhim to harass, defame, or harm others.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, billing controls, or other technical measures; reverse-engineer the service; or run automated scrapers against it.
  • Use AI features to generate content that violates the underlying model and embedding providers’ policies.
  • Resell or sublicense the service.

AI output

Wanderwhim’s AI features are tools you direct. They generate text based on the sources and prompts you provide, and they make mistakes. Review what they produce before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated text — including any republication, attribution, or factual claim.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused time except where required by law. Trial credit allowances reset on the period boundary shown in Settings.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we have reasonable grounds to believe is being used to abuse the service or other users.

Service availability

Wanderwhim is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
